About Us

Ronald L (Schneider) Murphy

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ronald L. Murphy Jr, but you can simply call me Ron. I have had an interest in the paranormal since I was a child and my mom took me on my first Bigfoot expedition throughout the Chestnut Ridge.

Needless to say, we never caught sight of this creature, but her perseverance instilled within me a drive to seek out questions to the mysteries of this remarkable world in which we live. Since those formative years, I have been on research missions to seek out all things that go bump in the night, from Bigfoot to werewolves, vampires to lake monsters. I have traversed the swamps, lakes and forests throughout the United States and Canada as well as the wild Highlands and crumbling castles of the British Isles in my quest for these creatures.

Besides seeking out cryptids, but I also have encountered the ghostly realm in three countries on two different continents. And not only have I investigated reports of these fantastical creatures, I have also documented and authored books concerning my research and encounters. In the end, the truth is far stranger than any fiction. It seems you and I are here for the same reason. We both have a mind that wonders about the origins of our nightmares. If that is the case, then you are my kind of people.  Sit down a bit and look around.
